When it comes to high-performance vehicles on the market, they aren’t just reserved for the exotic space anymore. The engine is the most power- and torque-dense supercharged V8 ever built, which makes the GT500 the most powerful street-legal Ford vehicle ever built. Furthermore, the newest Mustang Shelby is outfitted with the largest front brakes of any domestic sports coupe on the market. With available carbon fiber wheels and the Ford Performance-spec tires, you know this beast is going to perform incredibly well.

Finally, its transmission is the first of its kind in the class, and it enables the Shelby to upshift as quickly as 80 milliseconds. That’s literally faster than you can blink. Needless to say, this is the most powerful and capable powertrain Ford has ever created in a Mustang.
